I’m a South African currently living in Charlotte, NC after hopping around a bit (Arizona, Boston, London, Oxford, etc.). I am the Co-Founder and Creative Director of a small web design studio, Being Wicked, that specialises in the publishing industry, as well as a photographer. I spend my days in front of a computer, or behind a camera, and I don’t complain about it one bit!
I’m addicted to coffee and pursuing creative and active outlets of all types. I’ve been passionate about photography since I was young, but it wasn’t until 2000 when I got my very first little camera (Canon Powershot S30), that I really started exploring my love for it and started a photoblog – Apparently Nothing. I loved photography, and photblogging, so much in fact that I co-created the first hosted photoblogging service call My Expressions (now defunct), and headed up the London Photobloggers. I’m mostly interested in candid street photography (capturing those fleeting moments which tell a story) and food photography (if I can hold myself back long enough from eating said food first).
